What We Believe

Reposing our faith wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation and believing in the great distinctive doctrines for which Baptist people have stood from the time of Christ on earth, namely:

• The Virgin Birth, full deity, and pre-eminence of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Master;
• Christ’s perfect life, vicarious and substitutionary death on the cross and His bodily resurrection from the dead;
• His ascension into Heaven; httml tag (!html) to the command of Christ to show forth the Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection; and
• Scriptural observance of the Lord’s Supper to show forth the Lord’s suffering and death;
• The solemn obligation of Scriptural processes guaranteeing equal rights to all members in good standing and special privilege to none;
• The spiritual unity of believers for which Christ prayed;
• Life everlasting for the believer and endless punishment for the unbeliever; and
• A worldwide program of missionary endeavor in obedience to the command of Jesus Christ.

We, therefore, in reaffirmation of these principles, do band ourselves together as a body of baptized (immersed) believer
